Loci

LOCI refers to one of the many files that is stored in most SIM cards.

Information Contained in LOCI

The LOCI contains the temporary mobile subscriber identity, TMSI time, location area identifier (LAI) and location update status. This information is updated as the phone moves to new locations.

Data Retention

Even when powered down the LOCI data will remain in tact.
