Free and open source software
Free and open-source software (FOSS or F/OSS) is software that is often free of cost, source code readily available, and have limited licensing requirements.
To distinguish between libre versus gratis free software, FOSS is sometimes referred to as FLOSS for Free/Libre and Open-Source Software.
